MCS CLOSED 1/26/26

Good afternoon-

Manchester Community Schools will be CLOSED on Friday, January 23rd, 2026 due to extreme cold and wind chill values.

Athletic Update:

The girls and boys basketball games scheduled for today at Napoleon will be played as scheduled.

Girls JV at 4:00

Girls Varsity at 5:30

Boys Varsity at 7:00

All middle school practices are cancelled.

Manchester Community Schools will be CLOSED on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 due to drifting on secondary roads.

Athletic Update:

All middle school contest and practices today are cancelled.

The boys varsity game at home v. Hanover Horton will be played as scheduled at 6:00.

Varsity wrestling, girls JV and Varsity Basketball may have non-mandatory practice after noon. Coaches will communicate their plans with their athletes.

Manchester Community Schools will be CLOSED on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 due to hazardous road conditions.

All athletic events and practices for today are cancelled. This includes varsity boys basketball game, middle school boys basketball games, and all practices. Also team pictures scheduled for today will be rescheduled.

Due to Hazardous Road Conditions and Predicted Snow Storm Totals, the Manchester Community Schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, February 13, 2025.  Athletic Coaches will be Reaching out to their Middle and High School Teams for Event and Practice Updates.

Also, as a reminder, Friday, February 14, 2025 is an MCS Early Release Day with a 12:15 p.m. Dismissal at Manchester Jr./Sr. High School with Lunches Served, a 12:25 p.m. Dismissal at Riverside Intermediate School with Lunches Served, and a 12:32 p.m. Dismissal at Luther C. Klager Elementary with Lunches Served.

Finally, there is No School on Monday, February 17, 2025 as we celebrate President's Day in the MCS!
