Welcome to the Manchester Community School District

The Manchester Community School District is in Southwestern Washtenaw County, approximately 20 miles southwest of Ann Arbor. The school district enjoys a high level of involvement and support from parents and citizens. The Manchester Community Schools offer a robust academic program which includes strong core content area instruction, as well as art education, physical education, vocal and instrumental music, business and technology courses, career technical opportunities, athletics, foreign languages, Advanced Placement courses, and a broad array of extracurricular activities. The Manchester Community School district provides educational excellence in a caring community.

Superintendent Interview Meetings

The Manchester Community Schools Board of Education is very pleased to announce that the following seven candidates have been selected for first round interviews as part of our Superintendent search! Interviews will be held on May 12th, 13th, & 14th in the Manchester Jr/Sr High School Media Center. The public is encouraged to attend and there will be an opportunity to fill out a feedback form after each interview, which will be shared with the board.

We will begin each day at 5:00 p.m., with the following interviews starting 10 minutes after the completion of the prior interview.

On May 15th we will hold a special meeting at 5:00 p.m. to determine our finalists, who will have an opportunity to meet with stakeholder groups before final interviews held May 19-21. (These dates will be confirmed after finalists are selected.).We look forward to working with this group of talented professionals and our Manchester Community Schools Family to determine our best fit candidate for our next Superintendent!

Celebrating our Entrepreneurial STEM Students and Teacher!

We are proud of our Entrepreneurial Stem students and their dedicated teacher Mr. Walsh.  This program has empowered our students to develop critical problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation skills, preparing them for success in the ever-evolving world.  To celebrate their achievement and the program itself please join us in a special video showcasing our students.  Join us in recognizing their hard work, passion, and the bright future they are building.
